FOAM TAPE
Double-sided foam tape
It is made by covering a strip of foam with a layer of tape on both sides.
PE foam is usually used for this, but PVC foam, for example, can also be used for this.
By adding the foam layer, foam tape is thicker than traditional double-sided tape.
This makes it more flexible and allows it to adapt more easily to uneven or rough surface textures.
It also provides shock absorption, insulation and compensation for design tolerances.
If double-sided foam tape is used, a better pressure distribution is created on the materials to which it is stuck.
Foam tape in our range is made of PE foam, which makes the foam layer water-resistant and can be used both indoors and outdoors.
The material is often used when mounting elements where damping is desired or as a spacer.
For example, it is used when hanging mirrors, emblems or signs.
But double-sided foam tape is also often used when mounting certain elements on glass,
panels or scaffolding and when sticking cable ducts, skirting boards, decorative frames and window profiles.
